AirPixel Wide Area Camera Tracking.

GPS Based. Outdoor, Rock Steady AR. Set up in Minutes.

AirPixel is a wide-area camera tracking system for live, outdoor augmented reality. Built for stadiums, racetracks, golf courses, and large outdoor venues, where optical and marker-based systems reach their limit. RTK GPS with onboard IMU delivers ±2 cm X/Y and ±5 cm Z position accuracy at up to 100 Hz, tracking cameras moving at up to 270 km/h.

WHY OUTDOOR AR TRACKING HAS BEEN A CHALLENGE, UNTIL NOW

Optical and marker-based tracking systems weren't built for open, uncontrolled environments

Camera tracking for AR graphics has historically depended on fixed markers, line-of-sight beacons, or controlled studio lighting. That works within the four walls of a studio or a fixed rig. It breaks down at the scale and unpredictability of a real outdoor venue: direct sunlight, rain, terrain, and a camera that might be on a Steadicam, a cable-cam, drone, or a helicopter.

The constraint isn't tracking the camera. It's coverage.

Any system that depends on fixed markers, line-of-sight beacons, or controlled lighting reaches its limit at the edge of a stadium, well before it reaches the edge of a golf course or a street circuit.

What broadcast teams tell us about tracking outdoors

Optical tracking loses lock in direct sunlight, rain, or low light
Marker-based rigs require fixed infrastructure across the whole coverage area
Line-of-sight systems break down behind stands, trees, or terrain
Existing systems don't scale past a fixed venue size without added infrastructure
Camera speed and rig type limit which tracking systems are even an option

WHAT ARE LABSAT & SATGEN?

Two products, one GNSS simulation & testing platform

A cost effective GNSS test solution used across automotive, aerospace, smart agriculture, and production line testing programs.

LabSat

Portable hardware that records real-world GNSS signals, including interference, jamming, spoofing, and multipath, then replays it bit-for-bit in the lab, on demand.

SatGen

Software for generating GNSS test scenarios, for anywhere and anytime, which can be played into your test via LabSat.

HOW LABSAT AND SATGEN SUPPORT A MIGRATION

Three ways to move without losing what you've already built

Each addresses a different part of the same problem: keeping your test coverage and evidence intact while you change platform.

1. Bring your existing test approach across

Tell our team what your current scenario library and workflow look like. We'll give you a clear answer on what carries across directly, and what needs to be rebuilt.

2. Record real-world conditions, replay on demand

Capture real jamming, spoofing, multipath, or urban canyon events once in the field, and replay it back bit-for-bit identical in the lab, as many times as your validation plan requires.

3. Fits into your existing test setup

Whatever your current setup, standalone bench unit or full HIL rig, it drops in where the old one sat. For rig integration, SatGen Real-Time+ brings live GNSS RF into the closed loop from a live NMEA feed.

GETTING STARTED

What we'll ask about your migration

A short conversation is enough to work out whether, and how, LabSat and SatGen will fit as a replacement.

What you're replacing, and why

Vendor, model, and what's driving the change: end of life, support, licensing, cost, or something else.

What needs to carry across

Your existing scenarios, calibration records, and any HIL or bench integration.

A straightforward answer

Whether LabSat and SatGen are a fit, what the migration involves, and a realistic timeline.

TALK TO A SPECIALIST

Find out if LabSat and SatGen are the right replacement for your program

If your GNSS simulator is being discontinued, or the terms of support and licensing have changed under a new owner, get in touch. We'll ask about your current setup and give you a straightforward answer on fit, migration effort, and timeline. Or, if you'd rather see for yourself first, start with a 14-day trial.

  • 2-year warranty as standard
  • Free and full support for the life of the product, 24/7
  • Expert help in migrating your existing test scenarios
  • No unexpected six-figure re-quote, with solutions starting from €5,425
